The 7th Kura Master Sake Competition was held on Monday, May 22, 2023 in Paris (at Espace Charenton).

We were honored to receive the great awards as last year at this year's Kura Master as well:  “Seikyo Junmai Takehara" won the Platinum Award in the Junmai Sake category, and "Junmai Daiginjo Maboroshi Akabako" won the Gold Award in the Junmai Daiginjo Sake category.

The Kura Master is an international sake competition for people in France held on the land of France, selected by top sommeliers of the best hotels in France.

At the same time, the competition provides an opportunity to experience the historical French food culture of "food and drink pairing" from the perspective of sake and food, and to promote sake in the French market by having the judges make logical judgments from a French perspective.

The judges consist mainly of professionals from France and other European countries, including sommeliers, restaurateurs, hotels, and culinary school representatives.
